We focus on bottom up solutions and encourage the participation of communities, indigenous people and those at the front lines of environmental justice issues.

Ekenywa Foundation is a charity organization of Ekenywa Safaris operating in Tanzania. Ekenywa believes that through improving knowledge and opportunity, they empower youth to become new leaders and role models capable of creating the conditions for a better and more sustainable future by addressing the social, traditional and economic difficulties of young people in East Africa. Through environmentally responsible community-based projects, in keeping with or directly using traditional knowledge and skills, they are able to help create long lasting benefits for the groups they work with.
African Youth Initiative on Climate Change in Zimbabwe
The African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC) is an umbrella youth network that was conceived in 2006 in Nairobi Kenya, during the 2nd International Conference of Youth held before the UNFCCC, COP 12. This initiative has continued to connect, share knowledge, ideas, experiences, skills and strategies on youth action around the continent on climate change mitigation and adaptation. AYICC ZIM was established thereafter with the intended purpose of focusing on the Zimbabwean youth going along with the same principles of combating climate change in Zimbabwe and beyond.
