CONNECT
Our CONNECT initiatives are designed to build bridges and spark collaborations across organizations and networks that share common goals and values. These include hubs, a curated partner network, and online community platform.
We are currently seeking alumni who are interested in leading and building 10 BILLION STRONG Community Hubs in communities across Africa, Asia, and the United States. As the 10 Billion Strong community continues to grow, we are planning to localize and support a growing global presence and create strategies to promote environmental leadership.
Selected Hub leaders and co-leaders will:
Lead the 10 Billion Strong Hub in your respective country for (1) year.
Create programs and initiatives to drive environmental action in your country, particularly in schools and communities.
Develop programs and initiatives for 10 Billion Strong alumni in your country.
Promote 10 Billion Strong’s global programs and opportunities.
Encourage like minded environmental leaders (alumni and non-alumni) to join 10 Billion Strong programs.

Interested applicants must exhibit the following qualifications:
Must be an alumni of any of the 10 Billion Strong’s past programs
Either university student or young professional
Must be knowledgeable in connecting with the youth, school, and other target communities
Must possess strong English communication skills
Digitally savvy
Natural convener and mobilizer
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
Collaborative and a team player
Interest in committing to the role for 1 year (starting from February 2023 - February 2024)
We are currently accepting Hub Co-leader applications from youth leaders from Africa (Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, and Tanzania), Asia (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, the Philippines), and the United States. Other countries will be considered after our first round of Hub development.
Hubs are groups across the globe which collaborate together on sustainable solutions that are relevant to their communities. Hubs generally work on issues related to energy, food, water, waste and transportation, which are the most significant ways for individuals to have meaningful impact.
