Collaboration with the Midwest Climate Collaborate

The mission of the the Midwest Climate Collaborate is, "to facilitate the development of a coherent Midwestern response to the climate crisis through acceleration of climate action, knowledge generation and leader development led by a cross-sector collaboration of key organizations throughout the Midwest."

This resonates with us and we're proud to support this new, but rapidly growing initiative based at Washington University in St. Louis. Specifically, 10 Billion Strong founder Patrick Arnold has joined the Fall 2022 Educator Community of Practice to design and host two educator workshops. He's also joined the planning committees for the February 2023 Midwest Climate Summit and related Student Summit. There are many ways for emerging and experienced climate leaders in the Midwest to get involved:

Midwest Climate Educator Community of Practice Meeting - A Whole School Approach to Cultivating Solutionaries - Thursday October, 20th from 3:30-5:30PM CT - Register here!

Learn more about the February 2023 Midwest Climate Summit and submit a workshop proposal here through October 27th.

Midwest Climate Educator Community of Practice Meeting - Beyond the Classroom: Engaging Learners in Climate Change Solutions - Tuesday December from 10:00AM-12:00PM CT - Register here!
